Royalty Free Copyright Free Images – what are you looking for? and Where can you find them? This video shows you some of the pitfalls in the quest for free images. We aren’t all David Bailey and have tons of images lying around just waiting to be used, so knowing where to go to find free images and how to check the regulations regarding that image is a great bit of information to bookmark!
One suggestion I do have, for absolute transparency, when using a new royalty free image site, go read what security checks they carry out to ensure the images they are offering are free to use. Its worth the time to be secure in the knowledge that they are doing due dilligence on their images.
Thank you so much for sharing the site where I can get free images for my blog! I only know 2 from your list which are pixa bay and illustrator. I am so happy to find that there are many alternatives as well and I would like to check them out such as Stylestock and Reshot. Thanks again!
Cheers!
Very welcome, some do have specific styles or subjects but its a decent list of good quality images. So I hope it helps !
Thanks a lot for such an amazing review about Royalty Free Copyright Free Images and explanation are given.
I have been looking for a site like this for my blog for a long time. I always have copyright issues. I will definitely use the site.
Thanks again for this post. If you don’t mind, I will share this article on my social media account. Good luck!
Thanks for the share ! Im really pleased it helped you !
Thanks I looked at your video and learned how to use pictures for my niche and my blog. I didn’t know where my friends and colleagues were getting pictures for their niche. Now I know. I’m glad I can find pictures for free.It will help me a lot in furthering my niche writing business.
Great news ! Im glad this has helped you out in the search for the perfect image !
Great info! I was just wondering where to find images. This will help a lot. I would encourage on explaining the types of images that can be found. I feel it would get more attention if people knew a small bit of what was on the video before clicking.
Great informational site
Thankyou for your comments, I think the explanation below the video explains what is going to happen.
Great tutorial and explanation of the downfalls while searching for free images. I have used a few of these, including Pixabay and I think your demonstration is spot on. Those were exactly the issues I ran into with attribution and Shutterstock. I wish I had a video like this one when I was on the hunt for free images. The last topic you spoke about on how to create your own images; what was the name of that tool?
Thanks Andrew for your comments. The tool I used was called word cloud. Its awesome to use when you just cant find that image… https://www.wordclouds.com
I think your video is covering an issue that has gotten many unsuspecting individuals into trouble and that’s to say the least. I recently avoided one of such by a very narrow margin and I couldn’t help but wonder how differently my new year would have turned out.
Going through your video now gives more clarity on this very delicate subject. I’m glad I found it.
Regarding pixabay though, you mentioned that it features some copyrighted images from shuttlestock. Does this mean that pixabay don’t sell its own images?
Thankyou for your insight Lyke. Im glad that you have not had a bad experience. Good job! So Pixabay images are free… they could be images that are creative commons- in that people just want their images to be used… no cost involved. So always take care that you dont click on the shutter stock.. It could also be that pixabay is free to try and entice you to go for shutter stock and pay. But I do not fall into that category, free images for me.
Hello there, thanks for this awesome article it would be of great help to the public as it has been of help to me.wow I must say that you have done a great job on this article as it has all it take to get one attention I have see a lot of copyright images but I have never seen free ones…..is there any level of security attached to this images.
The images on the royalty free sites are free. Each website offers information on the safety of their images and their level of confidence that the images they are offering are absolutely free. Pixabay is a well known website with a huge track record for being trusted in that they offer a strong reassurance that their images are free. its always good idea to check the conditions of each website.
This is very great information and the video is must watch for anyone looking to find images for their niche website. Finding clear images for your articles is important, as screenshot sometimes does not work properly or not clean resolution. Wish I had found this information earlier before to use on my niche websites.
I hope it will be useful to you now Jannette
Wow, thank you so much for the video. I learn way faster viewing things than I do reading. Publishing photos on my website is definitely one of my biggest dilemmas when I first started. I didn’t know what you could and couldn’t use. This video helped answer all of the questions that were unanswered. I look forward to branching out on Pinterest as well!
Thankyou Megan, its great to know that you enjoyed viewing it and I hadn’t thought about those that prefer information via a video. So thankyou for pointing that out!
Hello Helen, I thoroughly enjoyed your video because I’m always searching decent images for my posts, it can be quite a task finding good quality images so I like you, I use Pixabay a lot of the time because the pictures are very crisp and clean most of the time.
If I’m feeling flush I’ll sometimes pay for images using the likes of iStock photo and Shutterstock but the majority of the time I’ll plump for free images every time. I’ve bookmarked your site so I can go through the list again.
P.S. Have you found the images you use along with your content helps improve your overall rankings?
Thanks much,
Pete 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment Pete, Im hoping that others will find these sites too, pixabay is very good indeed. I think that the images does help ranking but as I dont ever put out an article without an image, I cant honestly say what difference it makes, I dont want to take that risk!
