We all get bogged down with creating articles for our audience. For those of us that are looking for organic traffic, its constant. New articles are the lifeblood for a website attracting organic traffic. For me, its not just the writing of the article but the whole process of researching as well. There is no point in pouring out the same information as Google/search engines don’t like repetitous information and of course, you can’t just copy from someone else.
So that takes time to prepare and for me I like all my ducks in row which means getting it absolutely right. The whole process from start to finish. There are so many factors to the perfect blog with perfect SEO and in drawing this infographic, I was able to make the chore of checking everything a little more interesting!
Each section has a reason to be there, and of course the section on content and subheadings can go on for as long as you need it to… to get your point across and enthrall your audience to the extent they want to follow through with your calls to action!
If you want to try out jaaxy – as suggested in the first point you can click onto the banner in the side bar. They offer a free trial so you don’t have to fork out any cash to give it a go.
Search engines need to understand your website. They want to work out and identify whether your website will answer a question they are being asked by a search query. Using on page SEO gives the search engine the answers they need, so paying close attention to the details, will improve your rankings and conversions.
The point of this article was to have everything in one place – a template to follow when you are writing.
To recap – relevant high quality content with optimised headlines, tags and images showing a high level or expertise, trustworthiness and authority. This will go a long way to improving your website visibility in the search engines.

Thank you for sharing that infographic as it’s really helpful. Sometimes I struggle coming up with attention grabbing headlines. Is proper research a key to help with that or are there free tools available to help with choosing a captivating headline? I know call to actions are important, but I was told at the end of an article is the best place to put them, but I see from that graphic that one in the middle is also another place. Have you had better success with two call to actions in an article?
Thanks for your comments Brian. You need to do the keyword research ,so important for organic traffic but coming up with a captivating headline using those keywords can be an issue. Sometimes you have to go with what jaxxy says but at times you can put the words into a headline generator and it will give you a more catchy headline. Otherwise, a good plan is to use a wow word or a number, 5 ways to be the best blog or 5 WOW ways to be the best blog…

Hi, I remember reading in training that Authority comes from consistency over time. I think I read that some people are not worried about headlines I’m not sure because it’s only been 5 months. I do not get much organic traffic. I hope that it changes after 6 months and I am eager to find out
Headlines are important, they are part of the permalink and hold your keywords – the first thing that the search engine clicks onto so its got to be there. Shooting yourself in the foot really by not having a headline.

Hi there,
Thank you so much for sharing the tips on how to get the organic traffic. I think I got the gist of it but my problem mostly now is my discipline. It is just so hard to come home from work and write when English is my second language as well. But you know what consistent and practice is the key to win this SEO game.
Ps. I love that SEO picture summary 🙂 Just saved it for future reference.
It is tough, especially if english isnt your first language. I understand that.. my linguistic skills outside the english language are limited. But you do what you can, and that is the best you can do so be proud of that ! You are succeeding !
Meta title and description and alt image tag, I don’t think I’ve paid conscious effort to that, i could be stabbing my post in the leg. I like the way the steps are summarized, making it easier to see at a glance and check off.
You got the bacon. Good job!
Thankyou Marie !

Thanks for this easy-to-read SEO tips. I didn’t structure my previous articles like this, so it may be the cause my website has so little traffic right now. I have published around 5 articles in my blog. Should I just rewrite all of them or move on to new articles intead? Thanks for your answer
I think it is much better to have a structure to your blogs. It shows continuity and authority to your readers. They get used to your style and find your blogs easier to read. Choose a set of colours to use too throughout your website, stick to them, keep your brand the same. I wouldn’t worry about what you have already written but go forward with a new style and structure.
